Settlement Status

The Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia reached a settlement with Maryland Applicators, Inc. over allegations that the company violated District wage-and-hour laws. As part of the settlement, Maryland Applicators paid $835,000 to the District, of which $346,000 can be used to pay drywall workers who worked on Maryland Applicator job sites in D.C.

Construction workers who performed drywall work on a Maryland Applicators project in Washington, DC at any time from January 1, 2019 to March 6, 2023, and were treated as an independent contractor, can now file a claim for a share of the settlement here.
